Robert E. Jameson

May 11th, 1969 - July 27th, 2016

 

ADRIAN – Robert E. Jameson, age 47 of Adrian, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016.

He was born May 11, 1969, in Adrian, Michigan to Charles and Anne (Rebottaro) Jameson. After graduating from Adrian High School with the Class of 1987, he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.

 

He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from University of Toledo College of Law.

On December 16, 1994, he married Dana Bugbee, and she survives.

For the past 19 years, Bob has been in the private practice of law. He has also served as a Public Defender for Lenawee County and recently served as President of the Lenawee Bar Association.

He was an enthusiastic Michigan State fan, had an avid interest in Civil War and Wild West history, and was a hunter and drummer who enjoyed music. Because of his natural talent for music, he initiated the idea for the drum corps at Maurice Spear Campus. 

In addition to his mother, Anne Jameson, and wife, Dana, he is survived by his children: Taylor, Jenika and Chloe Jameson; siblings: Charles Wm. Jameson II, Leigh (Henry) Jameson-Heise, and Jessica (Bill) Chesser all of Adrian; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, The Honorable Charles Wm. Jameson, in 2014.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor Scott Winstead officiating. Private burial will follow. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bob may be made to Maurice Spear Campus Drum Corps.
